What are depression and anxiety?
Depression has been an issue which many people, around the world, suffer from. It can be defined as a disorder that affects the mood leading to a continuous feeling of sadness and loss of hope.
On the other hand, anxiety is that continuous feeling of worry and tension, and restlessness.
According to the degree of depression and anxiety, the life of the patient can be influenced in terms of success in study, work, relations, etc.

You should manage your sleep to be at night, where your body gets the real sleeping benefits in comparison to the day sleeping. According to personal experience, most of the time, I get depressed, anxious, and have low concentration when I do not sleep at night.
2. Make exercises every day even if you jog ten minutes every morning and after that, you can make it longer gradually if you want.
3. Eat healthy food.
Stay away from junk food. Sometimes your body has a deficiency in a specific vitamin or essential body element and that can lead to many problems including depression, anxiety, problems in memorization, and low concentration. Do not go directly to the pharmacy to buy supplements like specific vitamin or vitamin complex tablets. Try your best to obtain the required body vitamins and elements by eating the food that contains these components. However, if you feel that you have to take supplements, you should consult your doctor to make some tests like blood tests. Then, a decision can be made.
4. Try your best to go to natural places regularly, like gardens, or take a walk on the beach.
5. Clean environment. Your living place, i.e., your house or room, should be clean. If you do not have the desire for cleaning, try to get a cleaner. In addition, living in a calm and quiet environment, away from noise, has a positive influence on your mood. However, not all people can do it due to some financial issues.
6. Daily plan. You should plan for your day. Never make it goes randomly. Use a planner or even any empty paper to write your goals for the day and what you want to achieve. Then make a mark for each activity that you have done. At the end of the day, you will be satisfied with yourself. However, it is worth mentioning that your daily plan should not be busy with work only. In other words, you should balance your day between working, resting, eating, having fun, family chats, etc.
To be honest, this point is the most important action that is worth highlighting as I have found that planning my day has an obvious positive effect to control depression and anxiety. It controls the other five points mentioned above. When you schedule your day, you decrease your worries and be in a positive mood that helps you to make more achievements, thus getting the sensation of satisfaction.
